At the Feb. 23 Valley View ISD Board meeting trustees voted 4–2 to decline the SB 11 resolution as presented. Trustee Cathy Ritchey made the motion to decline and Trustee Kristi Tarrant seconded; the minutes record four votes in favor of declining the resolution and two opposed.
