Liberty County commissioners voted to approve a conditional-use permit allowing a Type B home occupation gunsmithing business at a residential property on Mount Olivet Church Road. Planning staff described the proposal as indoor, appointment-only hand assembly with no retail storefront or exterior signage, no live-fire testing on the property and no exterior storage of firearms; the planning commission recommended approval with standard conditions.
