At its March 23 meeting, the Marfa ISD Board of Trustees approved a motion to order the cancellation of the School Board Trustee election. Board Secretary Lori A. Flores moved the motion and Board Member Jay Foster seconded; the motion carried 5–0 (Ruben Martinez, Jay Foster, Philip Boyd, Lori A. Flores and Teresa Nunez).
