On Jan. 6, 2026, the Board of Directors of Independent School District No. 2689 convened a work session in Conference Room 1148 to begin a districtwide strategic planning process. Superintendent Dr. Klint Willert opened the session, welcomed board members and administrators and facilitated breakout activities intended to "emphasiz[e] the importance of collaborative visioning for the district's future success," according to the meeting minutes.
