The Yantis Independent School District Board of Trustees voted Feb. 9 to adopt the district policy implementing Senate Bill 11, which addresses prayer and religious text reading. Trustee Ashly Vivion moved to adopt the policy as presented; Trustee Jennifer McKeever seconded and the motion carried 7-0.
