Supervisor Jack Thompson reported the town met with the DEC about flood‑plain permits and said the agency requires building permits to explicitly state when a property is in the flood plain and to be processed through the DEC under a 1988 agreement. Thompson said the Code Enforcement Officer was notified to implement the requirement.
