Board approves limited rezoning to add four parcels to Ag Security program

Chairman Jeff Fiant presided over a discussion of a rezoning request tied to land preservation on July 7, 2026. The board directed the solicitor and the engineer to collaborate on the zoning change language. The decision limits the rezoning to the named parcels rather than applying the change to all potentially affected properties; the mailing to surrounding property owners provided them an opportunity to comment at the meeting.
