Big Spring School District previews summer 2026 building and grounds projects
District staff presented a preliminary list of summer 2026 capital and maintenance projects — from a possible stadium press box relocation to security-camera and cabling upgrades — and said updated pricing will be returned to the board before final approval.

Mrs. Lance, representing Big Spring School District administration, told the Building & Grounds committee the district reviewed its long-range capital and maintenance plan and identified priority projects for summer 2026. "The team has met. We've reviewed our master long range capital, maintenance plan to determine items for completion for this upcoming summer," she said, and emphasized that the list is at the preliminary planning stage and staff will return with updated prices.
