The Senate Rules Committee completed recorded roll-call votes on five University of California regent nominees and announced outcomes for the record. The committee approved "Russi" (listed in the docket as Rusty) Reyes by a 4–0 vote to move his nomination to the full Senate. Mabel/Malabelle Houston's nomination advanced 3–0. Janet Riley's reappointment was approved 3–2. Chip Robertson and Gregory Sarris were each advanced by unanimous 5–0 tallies.
