The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners met Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the Lansing Municipal Center and heard from Mayor Hardy and Clerk Grady Perovich about a potential candidate to fill the unexpired seat vacated when Commissioner Cuthbert resigned in December 2025. Chairman VanderMolen called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and the board did not take a formal appointment during the session.
