The City of Edgewater special magistrate opened a code-enforcement hearing and reviewed a slate of cases ranging from an unpermitted backyard accessory structure and a makeshift septic system to unpermitted commercial driveway work and several repeat property-maintenance violations. Magistrate Ryan Knight repeatedly urged respondents to communicate progress to code enforcement and set firm correction deadlines.
