The committee opened Aug. 13 by reviewing its objective statement: to identify charter and code provisions that are out of date, contradictory or unclear and to develop prioritized recommendations for the town council. Assistant Town Manager Ashley read the objective and mission language and the group agreed to circulate the statement to committee members for review ahead of the next meeting.
