Council approves emergency NatureWorks grant application to build soccer fields
Enon council unanimously approved an emergency resolution authorizing the mayor to sign an ODNR NatureWorks grant application to reimburse roughly $50,000 in local funds and support construction of soccer fields; the grant deadline is July 1.

Council member Bair said the Parks Committee will reassign previously earmarked park funds and apply for an Ohio Department of Natural Resources NatureWorks grant to build soccer fields in Enon. "We were approached by Say Soccer in need of soccer fields," Bair said, and trustees have committed local money to the project.
