The Jenison Public Schools Board of Education voted May 11 to appoint Craig Jenison to the trustee seat left vacant by the recent resignation of Jennifer Postema. Board President Eric Hartman explained the board’s authority under Michigan law and board policy to fill the vacancy; the motion by Eric Hartman, supported by Bill Waalkes, carried 5-0.
