The Burnet Consolidated I.S.D. Board of Trustees approved a new interim elementary assistant principal position for the 2025-2026 school year only during its Jan. 12 meeting in the BCISD board room. The motion was moved by Angela Moore and seconded by Katy Duke and passed with six affirmative votes; David Bennett was recorded as absent.
