Commission clarifies and approves corrections-officer pay changes effective July 1
The board rescinded a prior motion and approved setting the new starting wage for correction officers at $25.50 effective July 1; for existing correction officers the board approved a $1.63 adjustment plus the countywide 2% increase and up to 2% merit.
