The council approved Resolution 26-23, which amends the consolidated fee schedule after staff conducted an analysis of actual costs. Finance/staff explained that for some items, such as fire-hydrant use, the city previously charged a $500 fee and a $25 nonrefundable deposit but found the actual cost closer to $1,500; as a result the recommended deposit and nonrefundable fee were increased (staff cited raising the nonrefundable fee to $100 and setting the deposit to cover hydrant costs).
