The Cameron Economic Development Corporation voted to authorize President James Camp to sign a letter of support for an Opportunity Zone 2.0 application for census tract 48331950402. Board members discussed Opportunity Zones as a tool in business financing; Chris Egger noted that many clients look for Opportunity Zones before investing. Mike Zajicek moved to authorize the letter of support and Chris Egger seconded; the motion carried 6–0.
