Commissioners reject two courthouse security bids, order engineering review
After a Security Committee review, the board unanimously rejected bids from CommTech and OnSight Security Systems and voted to have the courthouse security project engineered to confirm equipment needs and courthouse integrity.

A Security Committee composed of Register of Deeds Caryn Hojer, Emergency Manager Kristen Longville and Clerk of Courts Jennifer Malone recommended rejecting two bids for courthouse security equipment and having the project engineered to ensure the county procures appropriate systems and preserves courthouse integrity. Commissioners voted unanimously Feb. 3 to reject bids from CommTech and OnSight Security Systems and to pursue an engineered design before re-bidding.
