Union County announces voter-registration, absentee and advanced voting dates for November election
At its Aug. 10 meeting the Board announced key dates for the Nov. 2026 election: voter registration deadline Oct. 5; absentee ballot requests Aug. 17–Oct. 23; in-person advanced voting Oct. 13–30; sample ballots available Sept. 19.

During announcements at the Aug. 10 meeting, Chief Registrar Martha Davenport gave the schedule voters need to know ahead of the Nov. 2026 election. The voter-registration deadline is Oct. 5, 2026. Absentee ballots can be requested beginning Aug. 17 and the request window runs through Oct. 23, 2026.
