Union County board declines optional ‘ELLY’ voter-roll tool unless State implements it
After reviewing materials on an optional voter-roll-cleanup program called ELLY, the board unanimously decided Aug. 10 that Union County will not adopt ELLY unless the State implements it.

Chief Registrar Martha Davenport told the Board the ELLY program had been brought to their attention as an optional tool for cleaning the voter roll. After members reviewed the materials in advance, the Board voted unanimously to decline local adoption of ELLY unless and until it is implemented by the State.
