Board approves two hires, accepts staff resignation
Northland Community Schools approved the hires of Cortney Christensen (Track and Field assistant coach) and Brittany McClellan (Yearbook Advisor) and accepted the resignation of Jacob Trimble (Kitchen Helper, effective Feb. 23, 2026). All motions passed 4-0 with three absences.

The board approved three personnel motions at the March 11 meeting. It voted to hire Cortney Christensen as Track and Field assistant coach (for the 2025-2026 season) and Brittany McClellan as Yearbook Advisor (beginning the 2025-2026 school year). The board also accepted the resignation of Jacob Trimble from the Kitchen Helper position, effective Feb. 23, 2026. Each motion passed by a recorded vote of 4-0 with Linda Knox, Jason Perkins and Bill Wake absent.
