Jerri McNair, president of the Burleson Independent School District Board of Trustees, called the special meeting to order March 12 and announced the board would adjourn into closed session for matters allowed under Title 5, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code. The closed-session topics listed by the board included personnel matters such as the superintendent's evaluation and contract, a prospective gift or donation, security matters, student discipline, real property and consultation with the board attorney.
