Board approves settlement tied to Hernando County Fair litigation
After an executive session, the board voted unanimously to approve a proposed settlement in Hernando County v. Hernando County Fair Association (case 21EC1454); county attorney said details will be transcribed and made available following litigation rules.

County Attorney John Jobin told the board it had been briefed in executive session on a proposed settlement related to case number 21EC1454 and that the board could now act on the matter in public. Commissioner Champion moved approval of the settlement agreement; the motion was seconded and, after no public comment, the board approved the settlement 5–0.
