District hears ODE forecast showing slightly improved outlook; possible state cuts likely under 2.5%

Interim Superintendent Kim Kellison reported the Oregon Department of Education forecast received Nov. 19 showed the state in slightly better fiscal shape; she said any reductions would likely be about 2.5% or below. Interim Superintendent Kim Kellison told the Silver Falls School District 4J board that the state economic forecast received Nov. 19 "showed that the state was in a little better shape than they thought they would be." She said district leaders were being told that any state-level reductions would likely be around 2.5% or below.
