The council voted to approve Resolution 2026-02 authorizing the mayor or his designee to request a contract amendment under the Texas Community Development Block Grant (TxCDBG) Community Development Fund contract between the City of Coldspring and the Texas Department of Agriculture, Contract No. CDV23-0071. Alderman Nichole Gatewood made the motion to approve the resolution and to correct a misspelling of the word 'whereas' in the document; Alderman Jessica Sewell seconded the motion, which passed by unanimous voice vote.
