The Santa Rosa Independent School District Board of Trustees voted Aug. 7, 2025, to schedule a public hearing on the proposed 2025–2026 tax rate for Sept. 15, 2025. The motion to set the hearing date was made by Rene Flores, seconded by Kelly R. Ballin, and carried 4-0.
