Stanton ISD trustees unanimously approved the District Emergency Operations Plan and discussed a potential clear-bag policy for extracurricular events. The plan was approved 7-0; the clear-bag policy will return for future consideration.

The Stanton Independent School District Board of Trustees voted Oct. 13 to approve the District Emergency Operation Plan. Trustee Ramiro Reyes moved to approve the plan and Trustee Brandon Ireton seconded; the minutes record the motion as "Motion to approve the District Emergency Operation Plan" and the vote as Yea: 7, Nay: 0.
