The Watonga Board of Education voted 4-0 on Feb. 9 to employ Marcy Roof as Federal Programs Director for 2026–2027 after executive-session personnel discussions.

On Feb. 9 the Watonga Board of Education approved the employment of Marcy Roof as Federal Programs Director for the 2026–2027 school year by unanimous vote. Aaron Clewell moved to employ Roof, Shawn Cox seconded, and the motion carried 4-0.
