Steger board authorizes pursuit of Class 8 tax incentive with Rinea LLC and issues RFP for garbage service
Trustees authorized the Village Administrator to develop a Class 8 Economic Incentive agreement with Rinea, LLC and to have the Village Attorney draft a supporting resolution; the board also authorized issuing a Request for Proposals for garbage service, both actions approved unanimously.

At the May 18 meeting the Village Board authorized two items intended to advance economic development and procurement. Trustee Hanus moved to authorize the Village Administrator to develop a Class 8 Economic Incentive agreement with Rinea, LLC and asked the Village Attorney to draft a supporting resolution; the motion passed on a unanimous roll call. Trustee Trotier later moved to authorize the Village Administrator to develop a Request for Proposals for garbage service; that motion also passed unanimously.
