Council considered appointment of a mayor pro‑tem during new business. Council Member Martin moved to appoint Jeff Tatum; Council Member Harrison indicated she wanted to be considered as well. After discussion the motion was decided by roll call and passed with three votes in favor, two opposed and one abstention.
