At their July 9 meeting the Hancock County Board of Commissioners approved prior minutes and routine financial items, signed a landowner acknowledgement for a landfill survey, and approved several small appropriations and internal fund transfers, all by unanimous votes.

The Hancock County Board of Commissioners convened July 9, 2026, in the first-floor conference room and approved minutes from July 2, 2026, after a motion by Commissioner William Bateson and a second from Commissioner Timothy Bechtol. The board also approved two warrant journals and payroll for Job and Family Services and the Commissioners' office; all passed 3-0.
