Commissioners approve $2 million capital projects appropriation

The Hancock County Board of Commissioners approved an additional appropriation of $2,000,000 to Capital Project Fund #4150 during its July 2 meeting. The motion to adopt Resolution #415-26 was made by Commissioner William Bateson and seconded by Commissioner Timothy Bechtol; the vote passed 3-0.

The appropriation was one of a set of budget actions taken at the meeting that included transfers and additional appropriations across multiple funds. Other fiscal actions recorded included a $10,140 appropriation to the Water Pollution Control Fund #2202 (Resolution #411-26) and an $8,619 advance from the General Fund #1001 to WPCLF Fund #2202 (Resolution #412-26).
