Council appoints Steve Rypkema to Tree Board
The council approved the appointment of Steve Rypkema to the Tree Board to fill a vacancy left by Caleb Jenks; Mayor Ken Williams and the city manager spoke in support of the appointment.

Council Member Melanie Cozzi moved to approve the appointment of Steve Rypkema to the Tree Board, seconded by Council Member Tim Krug; the motion passed on a roll call with no nays. Mayor Ken Williams said he was glad to see Steve stepping into the role and expected him to be "very valuable to the Tree Board." City Manager Darin DeHaan said Rypkema would fill the vacancy left by Caleb Jenks.
