The board approved two personnel actions on May 19 intended to strengthen data capacity and elder‑services staffing. First, the board reclassified an information‑systems position from administrative associate to business intelligence and data analytics specialist (grade 6 to grade 13) after a workflow review of criminal justice services; the reclassification will carry a fiscal impact of $11,481.60 reallocated from the former CJIS department. Supervisor Russell said the change centralizes data analytics and saves money by eliminating a prior CJIS data analyst position.
