At its Jan. 5 reorganization meeting, Courtdale Borough council unanimously appointed Carl Hodorowski as council president and Joseph Rish as vice president; Judge Barilla swore in council members for new terms.

Carl Hodorowski was appointed council president and Joseph Rish was named vice president at Courtdale Borough's reorganization meeting on Jan. 5, 2026. Judge Barilla administered the oath to council members before the leadership votes. Mayor Jaclyn Degnan opened the nominations; Joseph Rish moved to appoint Carl Hodorowski as president with Amy Yuhas seconding, and the roll call vote was recorded as "all in favor." Amy Yuhas then moved to nominate Joseph Rish as vice president, seconded by Jeff Ford; that motion also carried unanimously.
