Judicial Council outlines Case Search upgrades, ODR pilot and data governance work
The Major Projects Committee reported deployment of Case Search 2.0, plans for Case Search 3.0 in Jan. 2026, an Online Dispute Resolution pilot launching in Fall 2025 for limited case types, and Data Governance work including a data dictionary and public dashboard redesign.

Co-chairs Chief Judge John P. Morrissey and State Court Administrator Judy K. Rupp told the Council that Case Search 2.0 deployed in January 2025 and Case Search 3.0 is scheduled for release in January 2026. The committee reported an MDEC recertification update, an EJ 2024 upgrade, and ongoing reviews of access and data requests.
