Fairfield notes Act 181 amendment; selects send letter previously urging changes
Selectboard member Brian Dubie reported Fairfield initiated a letter expressing concerns about Act 181 and that the Vermont House amended the bill to remove the Road Rule and Tier 3; the bill now proceeds to the Vermont Senate.

Selectboard member Brian Dubie told the board that Fairfield was the first town to write a letter raising concerns about Act 181; about 20 other towns followed suit with similar letters. The Vermont House amended the bill to eliminate the Road Rule and Tier 3 provisions and the measure is now with the Vermont Senate.
