The Stevens County Board voted to certify a habitat easement proposed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for a roughly 30-acre parcel owned by the Prickett estate. Blake Nisley, a USFWS realty specialist, told the board the wetlands would remain intact, the property would stay in grass, and owners would retain grazing rights.
