Dennis Buttorff, the township emergency management coordinator (EMC), updated supervisors on the Hazard Mitigation Plan and provided information about the federal BRIC program focused on flooding mitigation, telling the board the BRIC funding item "was taken out of the budget but ... the program is coming back." He also noted the American Floodplain Management Association is working on a program to restore streams to their original locations.
