Board approves multiple coaching hires, teacher contract and technology position
The Menahga board approved a package of staffing actions as part of the consent agenda, including coaching hires (paid and volunteer), a summer recreation director, an elementary teacher contract for Adam Justin (MA Step 9) and a Technology Integrationist contract for Katie Steiner. At its April 20, 2026 meeting the Menahga Public School District Board approved a broad consent package that included activity fund and monthly claims totaling $471,510.22 and a set of personnel recommendations. Staffing approvals recorded in the minutes included: Assistant Golf Coach Alayna Day (step 1); Junior High Softball Coach Sara Kinyoun (step 1); Volunteer Golf Coaches Anthony Wurdock and Andreas Aho; Volunteer Track Coach Stephen Schreiber; Head Football Coach Logan Torma (step 1); Head Volleyball Coach Tori Komulainen (step 2); Head Cross Country Coaches Ed Heltunen (step 4) and Nick Jasmer (step 10); Summer Rec Director Cody Pulju; Elementary Teacher Contract for Adam Justin (MA Step 9); and a Technology Integrationist Contract for Katie Steiner.
