Board approves geotechnical testing contract for Hall Park project
The board approved Resolution 46-2026 to contract Kansas City Testing and Engineering to perform nine borings (5–10 feet) at Hall Park as the city moves toward selecting a general contractor for park construction.

Parks Director Eric Marshall presented Resolution 46-2026 authorizing a contract with Kansas City Testing and Engineering to provide geotechnical engineering services at Hall Park. Marshall said the contract covers nine borings to depths of about 5 to 10 feet at the Hall Park site and that the recommended firm had previously performed work at Lions Park.
