Trustee Tom Blank and trustee Brent Boesl reported on a recent fire board meeting and told trustees Miltona Township's share for the 2027 fire department budget is $85,295. The minutes state that figure "represents 71% of the $120,700 budget for the department." No vote on the fire budget or levy was recorded at the Feb. 9 regular meeting; trustees reviewed the figures in advance of the Annual Meeting next month.
