The Hawkins Independent School District Board of Trustees voted 4–0 on June 29 to adopt the district's 2026–2027 fiscal year budget at the fund/function level as presented. The motion was moved by Ryan Gattis and seconded by Janice Vonner; all four trustees present voted in favor.
