School board approves multiple policy updates on second reading
The Morris Area Public Schools Board approved second and final readings for policies on credit for learning, literacy, summer school, online instruction and testing out; vote was unanimous (6-0).

The Morris Area Public Schools Board voted unanimously to approve the second and final reading of several policy updates at its Jan. 20 meeting. Director Miguel Urrutia Calvo moved approval; Director Steve Just seconded. Policies adopted on second reading include Policy 620 (Credit For Learning), Policy 621 (Literacy and the Read Act), Policy 623 (Mandatory Summer School Instruction), Policy 624 (Online Instruction) and Policy 625 (Testing Out Process & Procedures).
