DBEDT representatives summarized updates to Hawaii's enterprise zone program under Act 182. Jason Ushijimi said the law modernizes eligibility to include value‑added agriculture, medical products and health‑care services, professional services related to health care, aerospace technologies and IT design. "So 1st off, it shows this is a list of the new different business activities..." he said, and noted the change will also welcome FPIN (Food and Product Innovation Network) participants to the program.
