The commission considered Resolution 26-03, which makes appropriations to nonprofit charitable organizations for FY 2025–26. A commissioner moved to amend account 101-58190-316, "change from a $100,000 to $41,006.93, and the $58,003.07 difference used to fund increases requested by the other nonprofits," arguing the change would supply funding to volunteer fire departments and other groups that had requested increases.
