Township representatives warn asset language could leave volunteers without equipment
Maumee Township representatives and some councilors expressed concern that ordinance language and transfer procedures could permanently move township-held equipment into the unified district unless detailed reversion protections are written into subsequent transfer documents.

Township representatives pressed the council and the territory attorney for clarity after the ordinance text said assets transferred to the territory by Woodburn, "if any, shall not revert back to the city of Woodburn" and "shall become assets of Northeast."
