District realigns high-school math sequence; Integrated Math split continues
Staff said algebra and geometry pacing documents were realigned and that Integrated Math 2 will follow Integrated Math 1 so students take the NJSLA algebra assessment after sophomore year rather than freshman year. The documents are included in the August K–12 curriculum packet.

Curriculum staff said they revised high‑school math pacing and course-sequence documents to focus instruction on major standards. Adrianne, the curriculum presenter, said Algebra I and Geometry documents were adjusted and that Integrated Math 2 is the second part of a two‑year sequence intended to give students more time on key standards.
