The Meriwether County Board of Commissioners voted to deny a special‑use permit request (Case PC25‑14) to allow RV parking at a Marshall Lane manufactured‑home park after closing the public hearing; the applicant was not present at the Feb. 9 meeting. When staff described that a veterans’ contact had offered three manufactured homes to occupy three sites at no charge, commissioners noted that the current request before the board was narrowly for RV parking, not placement of donated manufactured homes.
